Bridgton is a Lakes Region resort area located in Cumberland County, Maine. It is 35 miles from Portland and 20 miles from North Conway, NH. Bridgton includes the following neighborhoods: Bridgton, North Bridgton, South Bridgton, West Bridgton and Woods Pond.
Bridgton is home of the Benjamin Cleaves House, the Spratt-Mead Museum, the Stone House, Walker Memorial Hall, Wales and Hamblen Store and Rufus Porter Museum. It also home to the Bridgton Academy.
Bridgton offers an abundance of recreational opportunities including boating, golfing, skiing, organized sports, ice skating, sailing, fishing, hiking, swimming and kayaking. It is home to several public beaches and boat launches, hiking trails and campgrounds.
